Yunman is right, to choose a 主体 is the single most important decision made by the photographer before making a photo.

无论拍风光还是人像，初学摄影者一个很大的误区是“运气的诱惑” (the Seduction of Luck) --- 好像我们的快门按了足够多，那天就能遇上玛丽·莲梦露裙子吹起来，尽管我们知道人类摄影史上也就这么一次。:D :D :D

A good photo is MADE, NOT JUST TAKEN. My two cents. :D :D :D
