Master Ray: What do you think of the background color on the first photo and the last photo? --- Advice?

Kaja, I am not a master at all, just trying to learn like everybody else.

Now having said that I found this is a set of interesting photos with the first and the last being the same (right)?

This is an artistic background, very impressive idea. But I think the man made bouquet and the complete natural background don't agree here, unless the photographer wants to say something that I don't understand.

Anyway, it's an impressive attempt. Congratulations to the photographer.

Basically, this is a product shooting.

The main purpose is to show the flower and the handle. I have the handle pretty much. But, per the requirement from the customer, they want the handle to be shown. I have thought about put the flower on the sand or on a background clothe, it doesn't give a specutacular impression at all. I do want some dramatic effect from it. I did try to adjust the color a little. Which is a total stupid act. The spot light effect is still want to emphasize the flower to let it jump out of the background.

感觉第四张能更好地表达作者的用意，而且如果是我我会把沙滩面选的更干净，单纯点。 我会不要贝壳， 突出我想要突出的东西。其他的的确和背景不能相符相衬。 猛一看， 我以为是怀念在海边罹难的好友， 因为这是个在海边常见到的景象。

个人浅见，不妥望海涵。

haha, This is the best comments I have heard so far.
My reply:
1. the shell is too big. I agree with you. At first, I want to show the shell to prove this picture is taken near beach. But you are absolutely right, they caught too much attention. which divert the subject.

2. the flower with the beach background remind you the lost one near ocean. I did not thought of that. But now, with your reminder, I think yes, it does a little. I need to think of something else in next week. before I shoot. I am thinking use wedding gown and shampaing as background. possible a marriage certificate.

个人浅见

以海滩为背景的几张里面， 个人感觉有几个造成不安定感的因素：
1。 海平面的倾斜
2。 海浪的运动痕迹。
3。 集中于花束旁的布光结合花束和海岸色的接近。
均给我一种要表达某种情绪意味的误导。 更使我没有见到花束的喜悦感觉。如果是个商业片， 个人认为要再细考量。
